An increase in the intensity of the CN vibration of the pyrrole ring at 1404 cm −1 relative to the ring vibration at 1444 cm −1 ( I 1404 / I 1444 ) should be determined by reorientation of bis‐Nt molecules upon interaction with the SERS‐active surface 30. Consequently, this parameter ( I 1404 / I 1444 ) may be used for identification of the orientation of the pyrrole rings of bis‐Nts in their complexes with DNA.…”
