[8,9,27,28], the 900-1050 cm -1 region corresponds to symmetric stretching of BO 3 groups (936, 953 and 1014 cm -1 ), while the 600-900 cm -1 region is associated with asymmetric deformations of flat BO 3 triangles (694 cm -1 ) and vibrations of oxygenic bridges between one tetrahedral and one trigonal boron atom, or between one tetrahedral and two trigonal boron atoms. Note that the vibrations responsible for distorted modes of BO 4 groups are also observed in this frequency region.…”
