Radiological Imaging in Transdiaphragmatic Extension of Hepatic Hydatid Cyst-A Case Report

Abstract: Thoracic extension of hepatic hydatid disease through transdiaphragmatic route occurs as rare but serious complication. We report a case presented as pleural effusion with consolidation on X-RAY and diagnosis of transdiaphragmatic rupture of hepatic hydatid was suspected on USG abdomen and confirmed by CT.
