Radiofrequency (27.12 MHz) activation of the curing reaction of epoxy resins of DGEBA type

Abstract: Radiofrequency (27.12 MHz) heating is used for the activation of the curing reaction of an epoxy resin of DGEBAa) type in presence of diaminodiphenylmethane as crosslinking agent. The principle of the activation process is based on the partial conversion as heat of the dielectric loss in the organic medium due to the forced dipolar relaxation at 27.12 MHz.
