Annotation. Individual variability of intervertebral discs is one of the factors that makes it difficult to recognize the early signs of their pathological changes before the onset of clinical manifestations. In the development of evidence-based medicine, it is important to use clear criteria for distinguishing between norm and pathology, taking into account individual variability. The “mathematical modeling” and a comprehensive approach to quantitative and qualitative assessment of intervertebral discs will help in the early detection of abnormalities, in the individualization of norm, as well as in modeling the parameters of the artificial intervertebral disc for reconstructive interventions. The analysis by methods of descriptive statistics and the correlation analysis for the purpose of further mathematical processing, selection of optimal parameters for mathematical modeling is carried out. Anthropometric characteristics (body length and body weight, mass-growth factor and mass-growth index) were determined in young women and women of the first period of adulthood (16-26 years), as in separate age groups and in the combined group. MRI of the lumbar spine was performed, followed by morphometry. Statistical analysis was performed in the license program “STATISTICA 6.1”. The mean values of the variation series, standard deviations, coefficients of variation and asymmetry, paired t-test, d-test of Kolmogorov-Smirnov type, Levene index were evaluated. It was determined that the sums of the transverse and sagittal dimensions and the sums of the three dimensions increase proportionally in the caudal direction, have a distribution of indicators as close as possible to normal, and their coefficients of variation are many times smaller than for cross-sectional areas and volumes. Indicators of the ratio of the sum of sagittal and transverse size and the sum of three sizes to the average height of the intervertebral discs have a variability of less than 10% and correspond to the characteristics of the general population. Body weight and body length have significantly higher correlation coefficients with the sums of sagittal and transverse dimensions, with the sums of three dimensions, and cross-sectional areas in comparison with the partial dimensions of the intervertebral discs.

The aim of the work is to assess the preferences of doctors and pharmaceutical workers regarding drugs for the treatment of diseases of the peripheral nervous system in order to optimize the medical supply of the population. Materials and methods. Data from the State Register of Medicines of Ukraine, Compendium-online, questionnaires of neurologists and pharmaceutical workers were used in this research. The search systematic, analytical, qualimetric, comparative, statistical analyses were used in the work. Results. The results of a survey of neurologists revealed that for the treatment of diseases of the peripheral nervous system (radiculopathy, radiculalgia) the most effective treatment regimen is that, which includes “Nucleo CMF Forte”, “Celtican” and “Myelofan”. The effectiveness and safety of the studied drugs were confirmed by qualimetric analysis. However, the results of consumer surveys showed that the latter prefer a treatment regimen that contains “Dicloberl”, “Ketanov” and “Dexalgin”. These drugs are the most irrational in terms of side effects and contraindications. For consumers, the importance of the pharmacological effect outweighs the effects on the body from the side effects of drugs. Conclusions. The study of the preferences of doctors and pharmacists regarding medicines for the treatment of radiculopathy and radiculalgia was conducted. The most rational treatment regimens are identified, the effectiveness of which is confirmed by the method of qualitative analysis.

Резюме. Мета. Визначити ефективність застосування методів мануальної терапії, кінезіотерапії та електроміостимуляції для покращення амплітуди в грудо-поперековому відділі хребта та зменшення болю при лікуванні пацієнтів з торакалгією на тлі остеохондрозу. Матеріали і методи. В статті надано результати дослідження групи пацієнтів з торакалгією на тлі остеохондрозу та міофасціального больового синдрому (МФБС) 75 осіб, які перебували на лікуванні у реабілітаційному відділенні ДУ «ІТО НАМНУ». Пацієнтам було виконано фізикальне обстеження, яке полягало у визначенні активного діапазону руху в грудо-поперековому відділі хребта методом гоніометрії та оцінку болі за ВАШ при виконанні гоніометрії; пальпаторному обстеженні спазмованих м’язів та визначенні активних тригерних точок (ТТ). Повторне обстеження здійснювали через два тижні, один місяць та три місяці відновного лікування. Результати. За результатами статистичного аналізу маємо загальний приріст амплітуди руху протягом 3-ох місячного курсу фізичної терапії (ФТ): при флексії ‒ серед пацієнтів без обмеження флексії на 17 % (p˂0,05), з обмеженням флексії на 42,4 % (p˂0,05); при екстензії: серед пацієнтів без обмеження на 12% (p>0,05), з обмеженням екстензії ‒ на 43,2 % (p˂0,05); при ротації: серед пацієнтів без обмеження ротації вправо на 6,2 %, вліво – 8 % (p>0,05); з обмеженням ротації: загальний приріст ротації вправо на 42 %, вліво – 53 %(p<0,05). Відмічаємо зменшення больового синдрому протягом всього курсу ФТ при виконанні флексії на 2,4 бали (57 %), екстензії ‒ на 3,8 бали (66,7 %), ротації ‒ на 4,8 бали (73,8 %), при p<0,05. При пальпаторному обстеженні тригерної точки (ТТ) m. levator scapule та m. trapezius больовий синдром зменшився від 53 % до 70 % відповідно до локалізації (p<0,05). Висновки. Застосування методів ФТ (мануальної терапії, електроміостимуляції та кінезіотерапії) підтвердило свою ефективність позитивною динамікою показників флексії, екстензії та ротації грудо-поперекового відділу хребта та зменшенні рівня больового синдрому при виконанні гоніометрії та пальпаторному обстеженні ТТ.
