Abstract:Cholangiocarcinoma (CC) is a rare disease representing only 3% of the primary gastrointestinal malignancies. CC is classified based on anatomical location (intrahepatic, perihilar, and extrahepatic) and surgery is the preferred definitive treatment, regardless of location.
