Radiation Chemistry Provides Nanoscopic Insights into the Role of Intermediate Phases in CeO2 Mesocrystal Formation

Abstract: The role of intermediate phases in CeO2 mesocrystal formation from aqueous CeIII solutions subjected to γ‐radiation was studied. Radiolytically formed hydroxyl radicals convert soluble CeIII into less soluble CeIV.
