Racial differences in prostate cancer incidence and mortality.

Abstract: e15119 Background: Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of male cancer deaths in the U.S. There are significant racial differences in prostate cancer incidence and mortality. Methods: The SEER Database for 2008 was analysed for designated areas: Connecticut, Detroit, and Hawaii, assuming that these areas are surrogates for whites, blacks, and Asians, respectively.
