Rabi‐like splitting effect in acoustics is demonstrated in a hybrid metasurface. The hybrid metasurface is composed of a membrane‐type acoustic metasurface and a Fabry‐Perot (F‐P) cavity. It is found that the transmission resonance of the F‐P cavity is modulated to spectrum with two peaks around the resonant frequencies. The transmission valley in the middle of the two transmission peaks caused by the anti‐resonance effect, the phenomenon is similar to the Rabi splitting effect in quantum physics. The results are promising for utilization in designing acoustic wave devices like filtering and acoustic sensors with new mechanisms in hybrid metasurfaces. This article is protected by copyright.
