Abstract:The nonlinear optical response of semiconductor single-walled carbon nanotubes excited by
a strong laser field in a two-band approximation, applying a nonperturbative method based
on the numerical solutions of quantum kinetic equations has been studied. The density
matrix equations including the Rabi frequency were derived from the Schrödinger
equation, and then the high harmonic generation spectra were calculated by Fourier
transforming the induced current density for nanotubes. Numerical results are

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
