Abstract:Se presenta el caso de un canino macho Schnauzer de 9 años con historia de inapetencia, letargia e intolerancia al ejercicio. Se realizaron ecocardiografías identificándose efusión pericárdica y una masa de tipo neoplásica en el pericardio. El paciente presentó taponamiento cardiaco, el cual fue tratado con una pericardiocentesis.
