Rabdomiolisis. Reporte De Un Caso Clinico Una Presentacion Por Esfuerzo Fisico.

Abstract

We present the case of a 35 year old male patient with obesity, who went to the emergency department forpresenting brown urine, dysuria and myalgia due to physical training in excess of 18 hours of evolution. Areview of the disease is made and the importance of knowing the clinical characteristics of the disease isemphasized, although it is not frequent in our environment, it is important to know the characteristics of thesame, to make a timely diagnosis and treatment, in order to avoid complications such as compartmentsyndrome (due to toxic damage to capillaries with secondary edema of the muscle), renal failure (by toxic effectof myoglobin), hyperkalemia and disseminated intravascular coagulation (by release of thromboplastin to thecirculation).
