the other hand, emphasized that there is no relationship between CSR and firms performance. In addition, Berrone et al. (2009) confirmed that a firm which does not run CSR maximally will not get any positive advantage of CSR on the firm performance. Madueñoa et al. (2015) stated that CSR indicates a very close reciprocal relationship between firm and stakehold ers. Therefore, the relationship of CSR can be mediated by relational capacity to improve the firm performance. The relational capacity can be done through active involvement of a community in CSR programs focusing on environmen tal issues in order to reduce negative effects of the firms' activities and, hence, are beneficial to the community. The CSR practices of manufacturing industries focusing on Abstract. Manufacturing industry contributes to environmental pollution and social cost. Hence, corporate social responsibility (CSR) functions as a way to reduce the effects of corporate activities, to increase longterm performance and stakeholder trust. To increase its effectiveness, this study analyses the mediating role of greenoriented innovation and community participation in implementing the CSR. The study uses simple random sampling to collect 173 respondents from large scale manufacturing firms in Central Java, Indonesia. By using structural equation modeling, the findings showed the significant influence of CSR to the firm performance. The originality of this study concerns the need to involve social and environmental dimensions in applying the ethical program of CSR.

The concept of a circular economy (CE) has become popular and important issue in environmental management in recent years; however, there are not particular indicators dedicated to it in regional policy. CE approach is an industrial system that is restorative by design, and it emphasises that it is important that, rather than extracting natural resources, the materials that have already been taken can and should be recovered and reused in different ways, thereby securing natural resources from over-exploitation. In order to meet CE assumptions, modern and innovative technologies that allow for the recovery of valuable materials should be developed. This also applies to eco-innovation that connects technology development with environmental aspects. It is therefore obvious that issues of CE and eco-innovation are linked, and a uniform methodology aimed at compare the levels of moving to CE including eco-innovation solutions should be established. Because the focus in European Union (EU) has been paid on regions, measuring of CE-eco-innovations levels is especially important at the regional level. In this paper, the proposals of CE indicators, based on eco-innovation factors, which can be possible to create based on existing data set (Eurostat, Cohesion policy) are presented. It is recommend to use of five group indicators for measuring regional CE-eco-innovation. Based on EcoInnovation Scoreboard which describes innovation measurement, three of proposed indicator groups are associated directly with innovations, taking into account the principles of CE: CE-eco-innovation inputs, CE-eco-innovation activities and CE-eco-innovation outputs, and other two groups of indicators are effects of the CE-eco-innovation introduction: resource efficiency outcomes and socio-economic outcomes. This way of measuring CE-eco-innovation allows for create holistic, systematic and integrated approach for the CE concept at the regional level. Proposed indicators can be used in current transition stage for assessment of implementation regional policy and as a base for creation final CE indicators.

Resumo: O artigo tem como propósito analisar o relacionamento entre as práticas de ecoinovação e gestão do conhecimento. Ênfase é dada ao desenvolvimento de ferramentas para o desenho ambiental, uma vez que estas representam uma forma de integrar recursos de conhecimento ao processo de desenvolvimento de produto. Sabe-se que o comprometimento da alta gestão é imprescindível na mudança organizacional para a implementação de sistemas de gestão ambiental. Outrossim, a gestão deve fomentar a criação de conhecimento. Como forma de demonstrar a relação que é objeto de pesquisa, são estudados o Standard Design Process Form e o Diagrama de Product Ideas Tree. Tais metodologias foram selecionadas por caracterizarem de forma elucidativa o processo de geração de idéias dentro da ecoinovação. Além das relações destacadas entre as práticas de gestão do conhecimento e ecoinovação, um conjunto de quatro proposições é elencado no intuito de ressaltar os resultados encontrados na discussão. Support of Knowledge Management in Eco-innovation practices Abstract:The article aims to analyze the relationship between the practices of ecoinnovation and knowledge management. Emphasis is given to the development of tools for environmental design, since they represent a way of integrating knowledge resources to the process of product development. It is known that the commitment of top management is essential for the implementation of environmental management systems. Likewise, management should promote knowledge creation. As a way to demonstrate the relationship that is the subject of research, the Standard Design Process Form and the Product Ideas Tree diagram are studied. These methodologies were selected in order to characterize and enlighten the process of generating ideas in the eco-innovation. In addition to the relationships found between the knowledge management and eco-innovation practices, a set of four propositions is listed in order to emphasize the results found in the discussion.
