Quinolones for the Treatment of Neisseria Gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia Trachomatis

Abstract: The most commonly sexually transmitted bacteria are Neisseria gonorrhoeae and Chlamydia trachomatis. The quinolones ofloxacin and ciprofloxacin have been shown to have activity against both of these bacteria in vitro and in vivo.
