Quinoline Derivatives. (7)

Abstract: Faculty, University of Meijo*2) 1) Condensation of (III) with ammonia, dimethylamine, piperidine, aniline, paniline, and 2, 4-dichloroaniline in ethanol gave the compounds (IV to IX) which were reduced to (X to XII), and acetylated to (XIII to XV). Application of phenol, p-nitro phenol, and p-cresol to (III) gave the compounds (XVI to XVII).
