Quilt pattern inspired engineering: Efficient manufacturing of shelter topologies

Abstract: Lightweight, thermally insulated, temporary shelters are essential for disaster relief and military operations. To minimize cost and increase sustainability, it is advantageous to reduce wasted material in manufacturing these shelters.
