In an earlier paper the results of swelling pressure measurements on several plastic boards made by the Thermedyn process as also by the thremal plasticisation process using thiosulphate were described. Materials used for the investigationBoards made by the thermal plasticization process developed in this laboratory (vide Narayanamurti, et al) from teak (Tectona grandis) and sissoo (Dalbergia sissoo) and areca nut husk were used for the experiments.
