Abstract:QUBIC (Q&U Bolometric Interferometer for Cosmology) is an experiment designed to measure the polarization of the cosmic microwave background (CMB), the relic radiation from the Big- Bang. Detailed measurements of tiny temperature anisotropies in the CMB shaped our understanding of the early Universe. Accurate measurements of its polarization may reveal even earlier features, in particular the presence of gravitational waves with primordial origin. Such measurements can probe inflationary cosmological model… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
