Quasilinear approach to bump-on-tail instability using non-Maxwellian distributions

Abstract: Spacecraft observations provide evidence about the existence of various waves and kinetic instabilities in solar wind plasmas. These instabilities and waves plays an important role in the dynamics of solar wind.
