Quasi-two-body $B_{(s)}\to V ππ$ Decays with Resonance $f_0(980)$ in PQCD Approach

Abstract: Motivated by the measurements of branching fractions of the quasi-two-body decays B 0 → K * 0 ( f 0 (980) →)π + π − and B 0 → ρ 0 ( f 0 (980) →)π + π − , we study the charmless B → V( f 0 (980) → )π + π − decays in the perturbative QCD approach. Supposing that f 0 (980) is a two-quark state and mixture of nn = (u ū + d d)/ √ 2 and s s with the mixing angle θ, we calculate the branching fractions of these decays with the new introduced s-wave π + π − -pair wave function.
