Quantum stochastic resonance in the dissipative two-state system

Abstract: We look for stochastic resonance in the very low temperature limit, where a quantum-mechanical treatment is needed. The canonical example of a dissipative double-well potential subject to periodic forcing is studied within the two-state approximation. The cases of both ohmic and superohmic dissipation are investigated in detail
