Abstract: General Variable Neighborhood Search (GVNS) is a well known and widely used metaheuristic for efficiently solving many NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems. Quantum General Variable Neighborhood Search (qGVNS) is a novel, quantum inspired extension of the conventional GVNS.
