Abstract:An effective multi-element simulation methodology for quantum eigenvalue problems is investigated. The approach is derived from a reduced-order model based on a data-driven learning algorithm, together with the concept of domain decomposition. The approach partitions the simulation domain of a quantum eigenvalue problem into smaller subdomains that, referred to as elements, could be the building blocks for quantum structures of interest. In this quantum element method (QEM), each element is projected onto a fu… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
