Quantitative Study of Superior Oblique Paralysis Using a Synoptometer

Abstract: The study of 25 cases of superior oblique paralysis by means of a synoptometer shows that the evolution of vertical anomalies is consistent with the classical picture, whereas the evolution of torsional and horizontal anomalies is not. Jampel’s diagram seems in closest agreement with the clinical findings.
