Quantitative phosphoproteomics unveils temporal dynamics of thrombin signaling in human endothelial cells

Abstract: Key Points• This is the first time-resolved quantitative phosphoproteomic analysis of thrombin signaling in human endothelial cells.• We provide 2224 phosphosites regulated by thrombin as a unique resource for future studies on thrombin and PAR signaling.Thrombin is the key serine protease of the coagulation cascade and a potent trigger of protease-activated receptor 1 (PAR1)-mediated platelet aggregation.
