Abstract:Caprock integrity is a critical factor in geological carbon storage (GCS) and hydrogen storage (GHS), as it ensures containment assurance, environmental and safety considerations, storage efficiency, risk mitigation, long-term viability, public and regulatory confidence, economic considerations, and informed decision-making.
