The performance measurement systems (PMS) in the industry are defined in terms of various measures to be combined for global performance. The proposed approach treats with a qualitative approach for multicriteria decision with the improvement strategy of an overall industrial performance. The approach is based on a AHP and Sugeno integral aggregation operator, permits to express the global performance, according to the fuzzy set theory of appropriate Key Performance Indicators (KPI), the nonlinearity of this model, makes data ambiguous in the process of multicriteria decision-making.Hence, this manuscript is a contribution to the selection of the strategy of the improvement of the overall performance. The approach applies to the Moroccan Automotive Suppliers to evaluate three strategies alternatives by using a fuzzy Sugeno Integral technique to deal with the complex interrelationships aspects between KPI.

This paper begins by discussing the implementation of monitoring and control strategies to improve industrial performance. Industrial performance is presently defined in terms of multiple and multi-level criteria, which need to be synthesized for overall improvement purposes. The Multi-Attribute Utility Theory (MAUT) provides tools relevant to decisionmaking within this specific context. According to our approach, overall company performance is expressed as the aggregate value of each elementary performance relative to each criterion, with the aggregation operator being a Choquet integral. The paper then recalls previous studies regarding the design of efficient improvements within this same MAUT framework, before focusing on an analysis of overall performance gain in terms of elementary performance improvements. The contribution of an aggregate performance gain criterion plays a key role in this study. Two improvement strategies will moreover be examined and compared in light of this concept development. A case study has also been included to illustrate the proposals set forth in the paper.

a b s t r a c tIn this paper, we introduce a multi-stage multiple criteria latent class model within a Bayesian framework that can be used to evaluate and rank-order objects based on multiple performance criteria. The latent variable extraction in our methodology relies on Bayesian analysis and Monte Carlo simulation, which uses a Gibbs sampler. Ranking of clusters of objects is completed using the extracted latent variables. We apply the methodology to evaluate the resiliency of e-commerce companies using balanced scorecard performance dimensions. Cross-validation of the latent class model confirms a superior fit for classifying the e-commerce companies. Specifically, using the methodology we determine the ability of different perspectives of the balanced scorecard method to predict the continued viability and eventual survival of e-commerce companies. The novel methodology may also be useful for performance evaluation and decision making in other contexts. In general, this methodology is useful where a ranking of elements within a set, based on multiple objectives, is desired. A significant advantage of this methodology is that it develops weighting scheme for the multiple objective based on intrinsic characteristics of the set with minimal subjective input from decision makers.
