Quantitative evaluation of sensitive skin by ANTERA 3D® combined with GPSkin Barrier®

Abstract: Background: At present, there are many different evaluation methods for sensitive skin, including subjective, semisubjective, and objective evaluation. Various objective tests focus on assessing changes in barrier functions. It is anticipated that the ANTERA 3D®, in combination with GPSkin Barrier®, will provide better evaluation of sensitive skin. Methods: A total of 20 subjects with sensitive skin and 20 healthy participants were recruited. Sensitive skin subjects were treated with an anti-sensitive moisturiz… Show more

“…To examine the regenerative and rejuvenating effects of loaded ASC‐sEVs on human skin, the three volunteers applied either loaded sEVs or vehicle as placebo once a day on the back of right hand and left hand respectively for 8 weeks. Skin conditions were assessed by the ANTERA 3D, GPSkin Barrier and API‐100 25 machines every 2 weeks (Figure 6A). In this study, each loading reaction included 1 μg sEVs—∼1.21 × 10 9 particles, 2 μg NR, 1 μg NAD+ and 1 μg Resveratrol in 0.1 mL 0.9% sodium chloride.…”

“…Sensory reactions of the skin have been used to identify cutaneous issues, and many devices have been utilized to evaluate the functions of the skin and detect skin problems 34 . ANTERA 3D is the most recent specialized medical skin imaging and analysis equipment, which analyzes shadow and light reflectance to produce a three‐dimensional color image of the skin surface for rapid, simple, and accurate analysis and measurement of wrinkles and texture 35 . PRIMOS and VECTRA were also used to provide comprehensive images to confirm the efficacy of ULTRACOLL200 in reducing texture and wrinkles, giving a more radiant and glossy look when applied to human skin.…”

In our study, subjective questionnaires are based on self‐evaluation of customers trials after using the ULTRACOL200 products.…”

“…It is made up of five points, from one to five, where one represents worsening compared to the baseline, while five is the maximum possible improvement and allows the patient to verify the overall improvement by comparing the patient's appearance after each injection session compared to baseline, as shown in Table 2. The Antera 3D scanner [28][29][30][31][32][33][34] (Miravex Limited, Dublin, Ireland) is a handheld camera with a measuring area of 5.6 × 5.6 cm 2 . The instrument relies on technology related to photometric stereo measurements to reconstruct the skin in 3D using multiple images taken under different light sources with 7 different wavelengths spanning most of the visible spectrum.…”
