Quantifying the Parameters Influencing Heat Transfer during Quenching Of Metal Plate

Abstract: The process of quenching with an array of jets, to improve properties of metal, is a widely used application in metal casting and metal processing industries. This paper reviews the quenching of a metal sheet with series of jets from a mold under static mold and moving mold conditions.
