Quantification of pentaerythritol tetrastearate, a mold release agent used in polycarbonate, by non‐aqueous RP HPLC method

Abstract: A new non‐aqueous high‐performance liquid chromatography method for the quantitative determination of mold release agent pentaerythritol tetrastearate in polycarbonate matrix has been developed and validated. The analyte calibration curve was linear over range of 0.05–0.2 mg/mL (Coefficient of determination > 0.999), with limit of detection of 0.03 mg/mL.
