Abstract:The presence of antiphospholipid antibodies (aPLs) is associated with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS), characterized by thrombosis and obstetric morbidity. aPLs included in APS classification criteria are lupus anticoagulant, anti-cardiolipin and anti-beta-2-glycoprotein-I of IgG or IgM isotypes.
