Classificação da Disfagia Neurogênica Disfagia Leve: quando o controle oral é incoordenado e a ejeção oral é lenta, sem sinais sugestivos de penetração laríngea ou aspiração. Achados: alteração de esfíncter labial, incoordenação de língua, alteração no reflexo de deglutição, ausência de tosse, sem redução acentuada da elevação de laringe, sem alteração do comportamento vocal após a deglutição e ausculta cervical normal. Disfagia Moderada: quando o controle e a ejeção oral do bolo alimentar estão lentos, com sinais sugestivos de penetração laríngea e aspiração. Achados: alteração de esfíncter labial, incoordenação de língua, alteração ou ausência do reflexo de deglutição, ausência de tosse, presença de tosse antes, durante ou após a deglutição, redução na elevação da laringe, alteração do comportamento vocal após a deglutição e ausculta cervical alterada. Disfagia Grave: quando há presença de aspiração substancial e ausência ou falha na deglutição completa do bolo alimentar. Achados: atraso ou ausência do reflexo de deglutição, redução na elevação da laringe, ausência de tosse, presença de tosse antes, durante ou após a deglutição, alteração do comportamento vocal após a deglutição, alteração respiratória evidente, ausculta cervical alterada e deglutição incompleta.
