Abstract: Acne vulgaris, which affects 85% of adolescents and young adults, is a multifactorial inflammatory disease of the pilosebaceous unit. 1 Acne vulgaris, while it seems to be a negligible disease, mainly causing cosmetic complaints, can have a large psychosocial effect, with permanent psychological sequelae.
