The measurement of collision cross sections (CCS, σ) offers supplemental information about sizes and conformations of ions beyond mass analysis alone. We have previously shown that CCSs can be determined directly from the time-domain transient decay of ions in an Orbitrap mass analyzer as ions oscillate around the central electrode and collide with neutral gas, thus removing them from the ion packet. Herein, we develop the modified hard collision model, thus deviating from the prior FT-MS hard sphere model, to determine CCSs as a function of center-of-mass collision energy in the Orbitrap analyzer. With this model, we aim to increase the upper mass limit of CCS measurement for native-like proteins, characterized by low charge states and presumed to be in more compact conformations. We also combine CCS measurements with collision induced unfolding and tandem mass spectrometry experiments to monitor protein unfolding and disassembly of protein complexes and measure CCSs of ejected monomers from protein complexes.

This article delves into the realm of refining the precision of automated text summarization tasks by harnessing the underlying themes within the documents. Our training data draws upon the VNDS dataset (A_Vietnamese_Dataset_ for_Summarization), encompassing a total of 150,704 samples aggregated from diverse online news sources like vnexpress.net, tuoitre.vn, and more. These articles have been meticulously processed to ensure they align with our training objectives and criteria. This paper presents an approach to text summarization that is theme-oriented, utilizing Latent Dirichlet Allocation to delineate the document's subject matter. The data subsequently have been fed into the BERT model, which constitutes one of the subtasks within the broader domain of abstractive summarization-summarizing content based on pivotal concepts. The results attained, although modest, underscore the challenges we've confronted. Consequently, our model necessitates further development and refinement to unlock its full potential.

A Regional Road Network Capacity Estimation Model for Mountainous Cities Based on Auxiliary Map

The focus of sustainable urban transportation development lies in realizing the untapped capacity potential of the existing road network and enhancing its operational efficiency without expanding its physical footprint. To quantify the supply capacity of road networks in mountainous cities, this paper converts the problem of solving the capacity of road networks into the problem of solving the minimum cut set in road networks from the perspective of road network capacity, using the idea of the auxiliary diagram method in graph theory. By improving the limitation that the auxiliary map method is only applicable to the single starting point and terminal point network, a regional road network capacity estimation model of a mountain city based on the auxiliary map is constructed. Combined with the actual regional road network, the model results presented in this paper show that the road network capacity calculated by the auxiliary graph method is 30,137 pcu/h. Using the improved traffic distribution simulation method, the network capacity is 38,776 pcu/h. Compared with the traffic distribution simulation method, the regional road network capacity model based on an auxiliary map proposed in this paper is more realistic.
