Quality of Life after Total Parathyroidectomy in Patients with Secondary Hyperparathyroidism

Abstract: Background. Patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) have a decreased quality of life (QoL), which is attributable in part to secondary hyperparathyroidism (SHPT). Surgery is the definitive treatment for SHPT.
