“…According to results of ELISA, ZZCD can exert antidepressant and anxiety effects by reducing the levels of pro‐inflammatory factors (IL‐1β and TNF‐α) in peripheral blood, increasing the levels of anti‐inflammatory factors (IL‐10) and neurotransmitters (5‐HT, DA and GABA), and regulating HPA axis hormones (CRH, ACTH, and CORT). Similar to our results, previous reports have shown changes in these neurotransmitters, pro‐inflammatory cytokines and HPA axis hormones in the depression mice 34–36 . These results indicate that ZZCD can intervene in depression by regulating the HPA axis and peripheral immunity.…”

“…ZZCD was effective in interfering with both the anxiety and depressive behaviors. Therefore, it is suggested that chronic restraint stress combined with corticosterone injection is an effective method for constructing anxiety-depression models, and ZZCD can significantly reverse the anxiety-depression state caused by it.According to results of ELISA, ZZCD can exert antidepressant and anxiety effects by reducing the levels of pro-inflammatory factors (IL-1β and TNF-α) in peripheral blood, increasing the levels of anti-inflammatory factors (IL-10) and neurotransmitters (5-HT, DA and GABA), and regulating HPA axis hormones (CRH, ACTH, and CORT). These results indicate that ZZCD can intervene in depression by regulating the HPA axis and peripheral immunity.…”

“…According to the relevant literature [ 8 , 9 ] and preliminary experiments, the project team used a combination of benzoic acid estrogens and oxytocin to prepare a rat model of PD. After an adaptation period of 3 days, except for the normal group, all rats were injected subcutaneously with a combination of benzoic acid estrogens and oxytocin to establish the rat model of primary dysmenorrhea.…”

“…In 2015, Professor Xijun Wang published a monograph on Chinmedomics by Elsevier [131] , and he published six series of monographs in yearly volumes of Research Progress in Chinmedomics by Science Press (2016-2021) [132][133][134][135][136][137] . Chinmedomics has been used to evaluate the efficacy of approximately 20 classical TCM formulas and elucidate their mechanisms, a summary of these is provided in Table 4 [138][139][140][141][142][143][144][145][146][147][148][149][150][151][152][153][154] . We will use YHS and YCHD as examples to introduce the detail of Chinmedomics.…”
