Purpose Based on the sharp decline in the quantity and quality of natural resources, many organizations are shifting their operations to an eco-friendly system. However, this objective cannot be achieved without capitalizing on green knowledge and innovation. The purpose of this study is to examine whether green knowledge management (GKM) strengthens organizational green innovation capabilities, leading to green performance. Moreover, considering culture as the buffering condition, the authors took it as the conditional boundary between GKM and green innovation and investigated if it impacts their relationship. Design/methodology/approach The authors focused on the manufacturing and services firms’ managerial and non-managerial staff and collected data following the non-probability convenience sampling technique. The collected data were examined through structural equation modeling. Findings It is found that GKM is a significant positive predictor of organizational green innovation and green performance and strengthens their abilities in these areas. However, green innovation partially mediates between GKM and corporate green performance. It is also found that green culture strengthens the relationship between GKM and organizational green innovation. Originality/value This study’s findings provide confidence to organizational managers and related stakeholders to achieve sustainability goals by capitalizing on GKM and promoting green culture in their setup. This study is also among the pioneer studies investigating GKM as a unified system and linking it with environmental performance domains.

This paper explores the concept of Green Knowledge Management (GKM) and its relationship with sustainable development and green innovation. A comprehensive review of relevant literature was conducted to gain a better understanding of the components of GKM. Based on this review, a conceptual framework was proposed to outline the intricate interrelationships between GKM, green innovation, sustainable development, organizational green culture, consumer resistance, pro-environmental behaviour, and environmental knowledge. The proposed framework stresses the significance of managing green knowledge effectively to attain sustainable development goals through green innovation. It also highlights the importance of promoting an environmentally friendly culture within the organization to strengthen the link between green knowledge management, green innovation, and sustainable development. Furthermore, the framework acknowledges the potential resistance of consumers towards adopting green innovation products. To overcome this challenge, companies must provide adequate environmental knowledge and encourage pro-environmental behaviour among consumers. This will enable companies to manage their green knowledge effectively and promote sustainable development through green innovation. In conclusion, GKM is a crucial factor in developing green innovation and achieving sustainable development. Organizational green culture plays a significant role in strengthening the bond between GKM and sustainable development. The proposed conceptual framework provides a clear understanding of the complex relationships between green knowledge management, green culture, sustainable development, consumer resistance, pro-environmental behaviour, and environmental knowledge. It underscores the importance of managing green knowledge and fostering an environmentally friendly culture within organizations to achieve sustainable development goals through green innovation. This paper's findings have significant implications for companies that seek to promote sustainable development through green innovation. By effectively managing their green knowledge, companies can develop innovative solutions that address environmental challenges while achieving sustainable growth. Furthermore, by promoting an environmentally friendly culture, companies can ensure that their employees and customers embrace sustainability as a core value, leading to a more sustainable future for all.

Knowledge creation and innovation have reached a stage of high-quality development since the widespread application of deep learning and human-machine collaboration models. Proposing better theoretical propositions to meet knowledge creation and innovation needs in the knowledge economy is necessary by adhering to knowledge-driven innovation ideas. Based on the dynamic evolution of deep learning and human-machine collaboration model development, a theoretical analysis framework for the sustainable development of the knowledge industry is constructed according to the inherent logic of knowledge creation and innovation, which can explain the knowledge creation and innovation development mechanism jointly generated by the knowledge generation mechanism and knowledge circulation mechanism involving deep learning and human-machine collaboration mode. And continue to explore the possibility of moving towards the goal of high-quality knowledge development from the perspective of challenges, changes, and practical deductions in the development of the knowledge industry. Knowledge creation and innovative development aim to provide content that meets expected standards for the knowledge economy and is committed to continuously improving knowledge quality and enhancing knowledge satisfaction. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen knowledge control based on the deep learning quality internal cycle, build an interaction and feedback mechanism between human-machine collaboration mode and knowledge quality perception, and establish a knowledge and economic evaluation system to achieve knowledge creation and innovate high-quality development, promote knowledge economy, and truly meet social needs.
