Abstract:The U.S. Geological Survey Caribbean District Water-Use Information Program was implemented in 1980 for the management of water-resources data in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Island and to meet the need for a uniform accounting system of water-use data and categories. The water-use data are obtained from a variety of sources.
