Quality assessment parameters for EST-derived SNPs from catfish

Abstract: Background: SNPs are abundant, codominantly inherited, and sequence-tagged markers. They are highly adaptable to large-scale automated genotyping, and therefore, are most suitable for association studies and applicable to comparative genome analysis.
