Abstract: Looming labor shortages and lower efficiency demand a shift from the cultivation of seedlings via the traditional nutritive soil method (CK) to hydroponically grown long‐mat seedlings (HLMS), a new method of raising rice (Oriza sativa L.) seedlings.
