In this work, we present an anisotropic generalization of the Buchdahl static stellar model by implementing the method of extended gravitational decoupling and further requirement of vanishing complexity (Herrera, Phys Rev D 97:044010,2018). Starting off with a general spherically symmetric static metric with two unknown gravitational potentials, we impose the condition of vanishing complexity which then reduces the problem to a single-generating metric function [Contreras and Stuchlik, Eur. Phys. J. C (2022) 82:706]. The Buchdahl ansatz is then employed to obtain the complete gravitational behavior of the isotropic seed solution. The method of extended gravitational decoupling is thereafter utilized to obtain an anisotropic counterpart of the Buchdahl perfect gravitating sphere. We subject our solution to rigorous physical tests to ensure that it serves as a viable candidate for compact objects such as neutron stars as well as pulsars. We show that the decoupling parameter plays a crucial role in determining the stability and regularity of several key physical features of the entire stellar model. A novel finding of our investigation is the energy exchange between the seed solution and the secondary source which we show is sensitive to the decoupling parameter. In addition, it has also been shown that the direction of energy flow depends on the radial distance of the shell from the center of the stellar configuration.

In this study, we revisit the homogeneous and isotropic, spatially curved model in the Lyra geometry framework. We apply the dynamical system approach to study the universe evolution in model. The present cosmic dynamical system formulation is independent of the model parameter which yields the universe expansion phases dominated by the stiff fluid, radiation, dark matter and dark energy. These expansion phases in the Lyra model are consistent with the General relativity model. In addition, the displacement vector field of the Lyra geometry model will give rise to the stiff matter dominated phase during early times of the universe evolution. The cosmographic parameters, EoS parameter and statefinder diagnostic have been utilized in the dynamical system to illustrate the cosmic evolution of the universe. The numerical solution technique is used to illustrate graphical behaviors of the cosmological parameters. On the basis of dynamical system and numerical analysis, we exhibit that the model explains accelerating universe expansion with transition from the decelerating phase and it will lead to the $\Lambda$ cold dark matter ($\Lambda$CDM) model in the near future.

Anisotropic compact stellar solution in general relativity

We present herein a new class of singularity-free interior solutions to describe realistic anisotropic compact stellar objects with spherically symmetric matter distribution. A specific form of anisotropy is assumed to obtain the exact solution for the field equation. Smooth matching of interior solutions thus obtained with the Schwarzschild exterior metric over the bounding surface of a compact star, together with the condition that the radial pressure vanishes at the boundary, is used to obtain the mathematical form for the model parameters. The pulsar 4U1608-52 with its current estimated data (mass $$=1.57 ~M\odot $$ = 1.57 M ⊙ and radius $$=9.8 \pm 0.8$$ = 9.8 ± 0.8 km; Özel et al. in ApJ 820:28, 2016) is used to study the model graphically.
