For the production and quality of pineapple fruits, the appropriate choice of the type of propagule to be used combined with the management of the ages for floral induction are important factors to reach the maximum of desirable characteristics that will define the success in the production of the pineapple and its good acceptance in the market. The objective of this research was to evaluate the post-harvest quality of fruits developed from different types of shoots and ages of floral induction of ‘Vitória’ pineapple. The experiment was carried out in a complete randomized block design with four replications. The plots were made up of the shoots (slip and sucker) and the subplots were composed of the different ages of floral induction (8, 10 and 12 months after planting and natural flowering). Evaluations of biomass characteristics of fruits with and without crown, circumference, length, diameter, firmness, translucency, pulp color and physicochemical quality were performed. No significant interaction was observed for the biometric and biomass variables, and the type of shoots influenced only the crown biomass and the central cylinder diameter, which were higher in the slips. In addition, for the attributes color, translucent area and firmness, no interaction was found, and they were influenced only by the induction times, except for the variable color referring to the intensity of green and red colors. Regardless of the types of the shootss evaluated in the environmental conditions of planting carried out in April 2015, the fruits originated from natural inductions and inductions at 12 months presented greater firmness, a desirable characteristic for export and industrialization, mainly for the processing of slices of pineapple, pieces in syrup and crystallized. The slips natural induced and induced at 12 months provided fruits with a greater ratio between soluble solids and acidity.

Assim, o trabalho foi realizado com o objetivo de avaliar as características físico-químicas das infrutescências de abacaxizeiro cv. Imperial, submetidos à adubação com nitrogênio (N) e potássio (K). O delineamento experimental foi casualizado em blocos, com três repetições e os tratamentos foram dispostos em esquema fatorial conforme a matriz Plan Plueba III, que consistiram na combinação de cinco doses de N: 15; 90; 150; 210 e 285 kg ha -1 e cinco doses de K: 21,6; 129,6; 216,0; 302,4 e 410,4 kg ha -1 . As características mensuradas nas infrutescências foram massa fresca; comprimento; diâmetro; firmeza; rendimento da polpa e da coroa; coloração da casca e da polpa; sólidos solúveis (SS); acidez titulável (AT); relação SS/AT e ácido ascórbico. A elevação das doses de K 2 O para 410,4 kg ha -1 aumentou a massa da infrutescência com coroa, comprimento e diâmetro da infrutescência e o teor de sólidos solúveis, colhendo-se nas plantas que receberam esta adubação, infrutescência com os tamanhos médios de 632,34 g, 9,0 cm, 84,80 mm e 16,42%, respectivamente. As plantas que receberam doses de N de 285 kg ha -1 favoreceram o rendimento da polpa, o índice de coloração a* e b* da casca e a relação SS/AT proporcionando valores médios de 44,50%, 9,64, 33,06 e 30,10, respectivamente. As doses de 285 kg ha -1 de N e 410,4 kg ha -1 de K 2 O promoveram melhorias nas características físico-químicas de infrutescências do abacaxizeiro 'Imperial'.

Brazil stands out as a major world producer of pineapple fruit (Ananas comosus), which is partly because the tropical climate is extremely favorable to the handling of pineapple. The State of Mato Grosso has a great production potential for this fruit, and currently ranks ninth in the ranking of national production. In order to be competitive in the market, it is necessary to offer fruit of excellent quality. The quality of a fruit brings together its sensory attributes, the nutritional value and the food safety it offers. The objective of the present work was to analyze the different doses of potassium fertilization in the organoleptic quality of the pineapple. The experimental design was a randomized block design in a 2x4 factorial scheme, with 8 treatments, consisting of 2 periods of fertilization, respectively (thirty and sixty days), and 4 doses of potassium (0, 5, 10 and 20 g plant -1 of K 2 O) in 3 repetitions. The results found in the tests performed on pineapples were not significant for the variables under study; however, they had good acceptability by consumers. O estado de Mato Grosso possui um grande potencial de produção para essa fruta, e atualmente ocupa o nono lugar no ranking de produção nacional. Para se ter competitividade no mercado, é necessária a oferta de frutos de excelente qualidade. A qualidade de um fruto reúne seus atributos sensoriais, o valor nutritivo e a segurança alimentar que ele oferece. O objetivo do presente trabalho foi analisar as diferentes doses de adubação de potássio na qualidade organoléptica do fruto do abacaxizeiro. O delineamento experimental foi o de blocos ao acaso em esquema fatorial 2x4, com 8 tratamentos, constituídos respectivamente por 2 épocas de adubação (trinta e sessenta dias) e 4 doses de potássio (0, 5, 10 e 20 g planta -1 de K 2 O) em 3 repetições. Os resultados encontrados nos testes realizados em frutos de abacaxizeiro não foram significativos para as variáveis em estudo, no entanto apresentaram boa aceitabilidade junto aos consumidores.
