Abstract:The LHC is a unique laboratory to perform studies of diffractive processes, photon-induced reactions and multi-parton interactions and explore various aspects of non-perturbative QCD such as Pomeron structure, low-x evolution of parton density functions and the dynamics of hadron collisions at non-perturbative scales. Recent results on these subjects from the ALICE, ATLAS, CMS, LHCb and TOTEM collaborations at the LHC are reviewed.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
