Pyridoxine Improving Effect on Yield, Chemical and Nutritional Value of Egyptian Clover Plant

Abstract: Background and Objective: Vitamins are natural substances that are important in tiny quantities to sustain the normal growth and development of the plant. Thus this study was carried out to study the physiological effect of pyridoxine on increasing yield quantity and quality of Egyptian clover plant. Materials and Methods: In sandy soil at the Research and Production Station, National Research Centre, Nubaria Province, Behaira Governorate, two field experiments were carried out during two consecutive winter se… Show more

“…These increments might be due to total phenols effect on different plant metabolic processes regulation [76]. In addition, phenols considered as a substrate for many antioxidants enzymes, so, it mitigates the adverse environmental conditions injuries [77]. With respect to Boron effect, the increments in different studied growth and yield characteristics of chickpea plant under the effect of boron treatment are in concurrent with those reported by [78, 79, 80 &81].…”

“…Vit B1 greater concentration was effective (100 mg/l) in increasing lupine plant IAA and phenolic at normal and stressed (0.0 and 5000 mg/l) in soil without or with AMF. These increases might be due to the role of Vitamins in IAA biosynthesis and retarding its degradation (El Hariri et al 2010 andEl Karamany et al 2022). The obtained data proved that Vit B1 treatment has an important function in the regulating of carbon metabolism and protein synthesizes as an effective coenzyme in the metabolic passageways of these biochemical.…”

“…This enhancement was generally because of the defending role of vitamins which led to a decrease in oxidative stress. The positive role of thiamine on chlorophyll was stated in many plants because thiamine enhances or assists re synthesize chlorophyll (Hamada andKhulaef 2000 andEl Karamany et al 2022). El-Awadi et al (2016) reported that thiamine treatment is mostly associated with suitable regulation of photosynthesis and energy-providing reactions in plants.…”
