Pyloruserhaltende Pankreaskopfresektion

Abstract: Traverso-Longmire pylorus-preserving pancreatic head resection is regarded as the standard surgical procedure for pancreatic head tumors. The mortality, morbidity, and oncological radicality are as low as with the classic Kausch-Whipple resection, with the additional advantage of shorter operating time and reduced blood loss.
