PV water pumping systems based on standard frequency converters

Abstract: Standard frequency converters (FCs) are evaluated in this work as a universal solution for photovoltaic (PV) water pumping systems. FCs can be connected directly to a PV generator to power centrifugal submersible pumps driven by three-phase asynchronous induction motors.
