“…Other scholars studying pupil acquisition of digital skills also reasoned that the use of the Internet at home would be especially valuable for learning because it is often private and solitary, with much room for free exploration and experimentation (Kerawalla and Crook 2002;Kuhlemeier and Hemker 2007). Further evidence has been found by Meneses and Momino (2010) in a large-scale study of Catalonian children and young adult Internet users.
