Pulsed Reverberation Observed in the Mediterranean Sea

Abstract: This paper presents the experimental set-up, geometry and environmental conditions for pulsed channel soundings in the Mediterranean Sea. A short five-cycle pulse at a transmit frequency of 50 kHz is utilised to probe the ocean channel at a high repetition rate.
