Abstract:Background: Pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) is the standard of care for the treatment of symptomatic atrial fibrillation (AF). Novel techniques for PVI are the thermal size-adjustable cryo-balloon (CB) system and non-thermal pulsed field ablation (PFA) system.
