Pulmonary Rehabilitation in Heart Transplantation

Abstract: Although heart transplantation is the optimal treatment option in patients with end-stage heart failure, the pretransplantation impairments in functional capacity often persist after the surgery. Physical therapy and rehabilitation approaches are vital to prevent postoperative pulmonary complications.
